We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support project teams in sourcing engineered equipment, materials, and construction subcontracts for industrial EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align procurement activities with project schedules and deliverables.
  • Develop bidder lists, solicit RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and recommend awards.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and incorporate technical reviews and contract flow-downs.
  • Draft, issue, and manage purchase orders and subcontracts in accordance with internal policies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement status logs, documentation, and reporting tools.
  • Build and manage strong vendor and subcontractor relationships.
  • Identify procurement risks and manage resolution of material or service discrepancies.
  • Interpret engineering drawings to confirm material/equipment requirements.
  • Support continuous improvement and ad hoc procurement tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of procurement experience in EPC power generation or industrial construction projects.
  • Proven track record managing supplier/subcontractor prequalification, RFPs, bid evaluations, negotiations, and PO/subcontract administration.
  • Strong vendor network in the energy and industrial construction sectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Experience with procurement systems; Procore experience is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.

Other Details

  • This is a full-time, onsite position based in our Houston headquarters.
  • Travel may be required up to 10% to vendor or project locations.
