We’re on the lookout for a Procurement Specialist to help us deliver critical Transmission & Distribution (T&D) infrastructure projects across the country. From chasing down bids and negotiating contracts to ensuring materials arrive on time, you’ll be at the heart of our EPC projects making sure everything runs smoothly.
Who You Are:
4+ years of procurement experience in EPC projects, preferably in Transmission & Distribution
Experienced in RFPs, bid evaluations, contract negotiation, and material logistics
Skilled in supplier prequalification, submittal tracking, and expediting for high-value projects
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related field
Bonus points if you have a strong vendor/subcontractor network in the T&D or energy sector
Skills & Attributes:
Strong negotiation and analytical skills with attention to contractual detail
Excellent written and verbal communication
Organized and independent, yet a collaborative team player
Comfortable connecting with all levels of staff and external partners
What You’ll Do:
Team up with Project and Procurement Managers to support project pursuits and execution—create bidder lists, issue RFPs, and coordinate technical reviews with our engineering teams
Review proposals for compliance, diversity goals (MBE/WBE), and corporate standards; negotiate terms and recommend contract awards
Draft, review, and finalize contracts with all the right flow-down provisions to keep projects compliant and on track
Build strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors, resolve performance issues, and manage procurement risks such as delays or scope changes
Track progress via the Procurement Status Report (PSR), validate materials, enter data, and resolve OS&D issues with construction and logistics teams
Ensure all procurement activities meet compliance, safety, and documentation standards; support special projects as needed
