PPG is currently planning, negotiating, and executing EPC contracts for large electrical infrastructure projects, including HVDC substations, and complex industrial projects in the western US, targeting a start date of 1Q/2Q 2025. PPG is looking to hire a Project Controls Administrator to provide project support services in the setup and implementation of the Phoenix Power Cost Control System. This role is based at our headquarters in Paramus, NJ.

TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of the Director of Project Controls;
- Become familiar with the standard Phoenix Power Group Cost and Contract Management System
- Work with the Project Team, support the setup of the Project Baseline;
- Cost Reports-including the Initial Budget & Cost Codes Set-Up & Monthly Accruals
- Time-Phased Reports/Curves-based on P6 Resource Loaded data
- EPC Progress Reports and Earned Value Reporting
- Risk Analysis and Change Control Management
- Client Billing Requirements
- Client Reporting Requirements
- Internal Reporting Requirements
- Work with the Project Team, support the analysis of Forecasted Cost and associated Financial status
- Provide input to Client Progress Report/Coordinate Preparation of Internal Report
- Ensure the prompt Review and Approval of Invoices
- Work with the Director of Project Controls and Director of Projects to ensure a proactive response to Project Cost – Issues and Concerns, and associated Contingency Management actions
- Provide support to Department initiatives and training programs
- Performs any other duties assigned
- Adheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
- 10-15 years of experience in Cost Control
- Demonstrated experience in large EPC Projects – Cost Control & Progress (?) Management
- Experience with supporting Client Billings based on Milestone Payment Schedule or Schedule of Values
- Experience with Change Control Management
- Experience with Financial Management
- Proficient with Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat
- Knowledge of JDE/Ecosys – preferred
