QISG is a certified renewable EPC firm with a mission to link end users to capital investors through tailored electrification assets. We design, build, and fund full-suite strategic solutions that cut carbon emissions, increase sustainability, and elevate corporate responsibility.

We’re seeking mid- to senior-level Category Managers to lead sourcing strategies for critical infrastructure commodities—including electrical components, wire & cable, steel structures, transformers, and more—used across utility-scale energy and decarbonization projects.

This is an individual contributor role – perfect for high-performing professionals who want to lead sourcing strategy and deliver impact without managing a team.

What You’ll Do:

As a Category Manager at QISG, you will:

Own and execute category strategies aligned with project demand, technical requirements, and corporate sustainability goals.
Lead key supplier relationships and negotiations for materials vital to transmission, distribution, and electrification infrastructure.
Partner with internal teams on S&OP alignment, inventory allocation, and forecasting to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Onboard and qualify new suppliers, assess risks, and build a resilient, innovative supply base.
Use data and market insight to drive continuous improvement and long-term sourcing success.

What You Bring:

You bring a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, and 7+ years of sourcing or category management experience—ideally in energy, EPC, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure. You’re a strong communicator and negotiator who thrives in cross-functional environments—and you prefer leading without managing.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in commodity sourcing (electrical, steel, or industrial materials)
Expert-level negotiation and supplier performance management skills
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, Finance, or Electrical Engineering
(APICS/CSPM preferred)
Proficiency in Excel and data-driven decision-making
Strong understanding of sourcing strategy, contracts, and supplier risk management

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $150,000 based on experience and seniority.
